It’s been quiet on the book front for me. That doesn’t mean nothing has happened, though. I’ll dilate upon that in a later post.
Meanwhile, two more books have come my way. They are:
Ward’s Soccerpedia. The Lore and Laws of the Beautiful Game, by Andrew Ward
It really is an encyclopaedia of football, discussing pretty much everything football-related in individual articles in alphabetical order. A tome of good-quality, well-researched though slightly British-leaning (no surprise there!) information.
The other book is titled ‘Should’ve Gone tae Supersavers, Ref!’ The trials and tribulations of Big Erchie Smith, a referee. Its author is Allan Morrison and it is illustrated by Bob Dewar. This humorous book follows the fictional character of Erchie Smith on his travels to matches across Scotland:
Two promising additions!
